Protocol Information¶

You can investigate protocols on paper, using the Microsoft "Open Specifications" available on the MSDN web site.

You can also look at the protocol "on the wire" using Wireshark (cross platform) or Microsoft's Netmon (only on Windows).

Automatic service discovery¶
